The 16 clubs remaining in the Série A after the end of the 2017 Brasileirão (Brazilian national championship) will receive their prize money. CBF reports that it will grant a performance reward from the champion to the team finishing in 16th place. The sum will be scaled according to the final tournament standings.
The team that lifts the trophy will also win the highest prize in numbers: R$ 18,069,300.00. The runner-up will claim R$ 11,373,030.00, whereas the third place will take R$ 7,759,170.00 home. The full standings include up to the 16th place. Only clubs in relegation standings and Série B clubs will not be considered.
