Argentina’s Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick to become the highest-scoring overseas player in Premier League history as Manchester City beat Astonu Villa 6-1 to move up to second place on the table.

Aguero scored his second goal at the 57 minute mark to go past Thierry Henry to reach 176th Premier League goals and saw him better Alan Shearer for the most hat-tricks in the Premier League.

The comprehensive win saw City move to second place on the Premier League table.

It was also the Argentinian's 12th Premier League treble and allowed him to pass Alan Shearer for the most hat-tricks scored in the Premier League competition.
