Globo, Globosat and CBF hereby announce that Grupo Globo has exclusively acquired all rights related to TV broadcasts of Brazilian National Team matches in free-to-air TV, cable TV and PPV concerning the November 2017 to December 2022 term.
The agreement covers all 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Qualifiers to be played in Brazil, as well as friendly matches to take place in any country, both of these also related to the 2017/2022 term, including the next two matches of the Brazilian National Team against Japan and England.
Grupo Globo had already purchased the rights to digital platforms in September.
Grupo Globo therefore further enhances its commitment to the Brazilian National Team through its high quality broadcasts and daily efforts to produce the best possible content, in the best possible way, to both its audience and partners.
CBF believes that the ongoing partnership with Grupo Globo will be extremely beneficial towards enabling Brazilian National Team matches to be seen by every Brazilian football fan.
