Player agent calls for payments on player transfers in A-League

Player agent Paddy Dominguez has called upon the A-League/FFA to introduce transfer fees on players changing clubs in the competition.

In a recent Foxsports interview he said the A-League must move on from its ‘archaic’ transfer system and by placing a $$ value on a player in Australia.

At the present time A-Leaguei Clubs do not pay money for any player transfers.

Dominguez has been a player agent for over 30 years and has represented the likes of Aaron Mooy and Jamie MacLaren in their transfer negotiations.
