Asian Champions League games will not go ahead

FFA has advised the Asian Football Confederation that Sydney FC and Perth Glory cannot hold their opening Asian Champions League games in Australia against teams from China.

It comes after the Australia introduced bans on all foreigners travelling from China as part of its resoonse to the coronavirus outbreak.

A meeting has now been called on Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur by the AFC.

Perth Glory are scheduled to play Shanghai Shenhua on Tuesday 11 February 11 with Sydney FC hosting Shanghai SIPG on Wednesday 12 February.
