POHANG STEELERS MOVE FOR JOSH BRILANTE APPEARS TO HAVE STALLED

Sydney FC mid-fielder Josh Brilante much anticipated move to South Korea to play with the Pohang Steelers appears to have run-off-the-rail at the final hurdle and the signs are that he will stay with his A-League cclub until the end of the season.

The sticking-point for the move is most likely the insistance by Sydney FC that they receive a transfer fee for Brilante who is off-contract at the end of the 2018-2019 A-League season.

Brilante had apparently told his Sydney FC team-mates that he was confident that he would be leaving.
