The future for Bury FC Phoenix team looks down but up

The supporters driving the creation of a Bury AFC phoenix club have now submitted a formal application to the North West Counties League.

The League is the ninth and 10th tiers of football in England and as such a long way down from League 1 where Bury were playing just 6 months ago.

If the Bury Phoenix teams application is accepted then the new club is likely to debut in the NWCFL First Division North.
