Adelaide United has beaten Sydney FC in the FFA Cup final at Cooper’s Stadium.
At the beginning of the year 781 teams entered the competition with the final of the FFA Cup coming down to the same sides that played in the final in 2017.
Craig Goodwin scored twice for Adelaide with the scores locked at 1-1 at half-time.
Attendance for the game was 14,448 which is virtually a sell-out at Coopers Stadium.
