The Brazil Women's Football Team wrapped up its series of friendlies in Chile undefeated. This Tuesday (28), Brazil once again beat the home side. At La Portada Stadium in La Serena, coach Vadão’s squad downed the Chileans 3-0. Both friendly matches against next year’s Copa América’s hosts are part of the preparatory phase for the Conmebol tournament, set to take place from April 4-22.

At an intense pace, the Brazilian Team dominated play right from the kick-off. Playing some attacking football, it did not take long before Brazil opened the scoring. Eight minutes into the match, Marta made a cross to Bia Zaneretto, who kept her cool and pushed the ball past the goalkeeper, making it 1-0. The second goal came along in the 17th minute, with Thais pushing the ball into the net and putting Brazil 2-0 ahead.

With good movement, the Brazilian squad scored its third goal in the 26th minute. After a solid play on the left side of the field, Debinha shot the ball into the net: 3-0. In the final stretch of the first half, Chile tried to respond with a shot from outside the penalty box that struck the crossbar.

Brazil kept control of the match after coming back from half-time. Exchanging passes and using the speed of its strikers in its favor, Brazil had a penalty kick at the 11th minute-mark. Ludmila had the chance to make it 4-0, but her shot rocked the crossbar. End of the match: 3-0.

Brazil started the match with the following line-up: Aline; Leticia, Mônica, Rafaelle and Rilany; Érika, Andressinha, Thaisinha and Marta; Debinha and Bia Zaneratto.
