Lionel Messi's sixth Ballon d'Or win on Monday night has seen Barcelona move ahead of Real Madrid, with the Catalans now having claimed more Golden Balls than any other club.
The Argentine has exactly half of Barca's 12 Ballons d'Or, previously won by Blaugrana greats Luis Suarez (1960) Johan Cruyff (1973 and 1974), Hristo Stoichkov (1994), Rivaldo (1999) and Ronaldinho (2005).
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have 11,AC Milan and Juventus have had eight Ballon d'Or winners, with Bayern Munich next on five.
